Run faster, harder and further with Casey Gilbert
After offering an initial series of interval runs in Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park, Casey Gilbert returns with 12 sessions set in New England’s beautiful autumnal landscape.
Improve your running technique while learning about the history of this iconic region: your globe-trotting coach will encourage you to complete this program, which combines endurance and interval running. You’ll come out of this journey stronger than ever!
A 12-session series that visits the most beautiful sites in New England
New England is yours to explore, with a first-hand immersion in the flamboyant wooded landscape visible from the Kancamagus Road, during an endurance race that sets the mood for this exciting series. The serious stuff starts right after that: you’re already sweating as you make your way through downtown Portland at various speeds. Then it’s on to Maine with a stunning view of Portland Head Lighthouse. Save some energy for the next session, also in Maine, where 2-minute intervals at very high intensity and on an incline will have you working like never before. Rest up, you’ve earned it!
Join Casey for a run along Old Orchard Beach, overlooking the ocean. In the next session, you’ll venture out on a rocky trail used by smugglers in the 18th century, alternating between walking and slow running. Your strides will then take you to Salem, a town well known for its witch trials, which Casey Gilbert will tell you more about. You’ll learn more about the American Revolution on a filmed route through the historic part of Boston with intense intervals.
The next endurance run will give you a great look at the houses along the coast, including a beautiful lighthouse on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. After that, Easton Bay awaits: walk and run along the seafront on the Cliff Walk. Don’t stop, you still have to reach the top of Brenton Point in Newport! To end this series on a high note, Casey Gilbert presents Gillette Castle, a unique and picturesque castle in the middle of a large park where you can give it your all for one last intense interval run!
